Meet The Team
Altheresa Clark, LCSW
Founder & CEO
Altheresa is a wife, mother, coach, therapist, author, speaker, entrepreneur and a strong woman. She has
impacted the lives of many individuals and families by teaching them to find their
purpose and walk in their purpose. Hailing from Miami, Florida Altheresa inspires others to
live a life of purpose.In 2016, Altheresa launched Inspire4Purpose, where she is passionate about
helping her clients find the pathway to their purpose by
giving them the road map to finding their purpose. She is the CEO/Founder of Inspire4Purpose
where she has built her private practice to assist those in need of
reclaiming their life and to find their purpose.

Veronika Toussaint, MSW
Having always pursued study and work that allows me to make an impact on the lives of the vulnerable through a range of therapeutic approaches as an advanced trauma-informed practitioner. Using motivational interviewing and psychoeducation, I have been able to develop many varieties of skills and the passion needed to help guide many different individuals. I have been given the opportunity to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Florida Memorial University and earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University. Veronika joined Inspire4Purpose in 2020.

Jianna Jabouin, MSW
I graduated from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL in 2014 earning both a Bachelor and Master’s degree in social work with clinical concentration. I am currently a registered clinical social work intern. I have been working in the field helping families with children struggling with ADHD, adults with severe mental health disorders as well as individuals with different stressful life events. I utilize a different number of therapeutic modality techniques including but not limited to cognitive behavior therapy techniques, motivational interviewing techniques, and family systems theory techniques. Jianna joined Inspire4Purpose in 2020.

Sheena Cooper, LCSW
Sheena Cooper, LCSWSheena received her BSW from the University of South Florida in Tampa and her Masters of Social Work from Barry University. She has 6 years of Therapy experience where she worked with an array of individuals, and families. Her experience in the Medical field as a Clinical Social Worker has allowed her the opportunity to manage crisis situations. Sheena is also a Certified Anger Management Specialist I and an Operation Iraqi Enduring Freedom Veteran. She is currently a licensed clinical social worker.

Laronda
Thomas-Garcia, MSW
She is a graduate of Barry University with her Masters Degree in Social Work. Laronda has worked with various populations and finds joy in helping all people but most especially helping women and youth.Laronda is a hard worker; known for her dedication, dependability, and resourceful professional work. Clients would say she is sensitive, empathetic , open minded, and full of enthusiasm. Laronda with the help of her clients have been able to find creative solutions for everyday problems. She is fully conversant with current thinking on social work conduct and practice. She is one who possesses extensive knowledge of social diversity and equal opportunity issues with the ability to demonstrate this throughout all aspects of practice.She is committed to a person centered approach which helps promote independence and well being for those under her care. Laronda has an extensive knowledge in providing, crisis intervention, supportive counseling ,dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused counseling and wrap around services. She conducts individual, family, and group therapy sessions with patience, trust, and confidentiality.

Kamilah Cross, LCSW
I am honored and blessed to have been chosen to be a world changer through my works in therapy! My goal is to help you reach the understanding of your purpose. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Florida International University in 2005 and later returned to the University to obtain my Masters in Social Work in 2015. After the completion of graduation, I continued on to specialize in Anger Management and women's issues, later successfully completing my LCSW.Throughout my many accomplishments, I am most proud of my abilities as a devoted mother, motivational mentor, and genuine guide in this life for others.“I want to help provide the individuals that I work with, with the opportunity to recreate their destiny and change their outcomes. Katrina West, MSW
Katrina graduated from North Carolina A & T State University earning a Bachelor’s of Social Work. She then completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Barry University in Miami, FL. Katrina has 9 years of clinical experience across a variety of setting including crisis intervention, outpatient setting, inpatient medical and trauma. She uses several therapeutic interventions including but not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focus and Motivational Interviewing. Her concept is individuals who have the motivation to improve and gain courage to seek growth through vulnerability & accepting change, they can accomplish all the goals they desire.

Cynthia Lombard, MSW
She graduated from Barry University in May 2020, earning her Masters Degree in Social Work. She has a lot of experience working with vulnerable children in foster care and working with many different families. She is currently a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. One of the many modalities she enjoy's is using Cognitive Behavior Therapy. It allows her to quickly identify challenges, reduce stress, or cope with complicated relationships. Through her years of clinical experience it has allowed her to further develop her skills and allowing her to become more efficient in her therapeutic technique and delivery.

India Hudson, MFT
I am India Hudson a graduate from St Thomas University in 2019 and now a Mental Health Counselor Intern. I have over 10 years of experience that I’ve acquired while working in the Child Welfare system by helping children and families face a variety of challenges. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who may need assistance with life challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, co-occurring disorders, relationship issues and various life transitions. I utilize techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focus therapy, and wrap services. As your therapist, Allow me to help provide a supportive, non-judgemental, safe, and confidential setting where you can express yourself freely.

Alexander Pitaluga, LCSW
Alexander received his BS in Community Health Education from the University of Puerto Rico in 1985 and his Masters of Social Work from Florida International University in 1991. He received his LCSW in 1994. Alexander is a Qualified Supervisor and has been a Field Instructor for Florida International University. He has over 30 years of experience as a social worker working with diverse and vulnerable populations such as foster care and at risk youth, young adults aging out of foster care, victims of sexual abuse, domestic violence and LGBTQ individuals. He has also worked with the homeless mentally ill, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and forensic populations. He has experience in working with individuals, families and groups He has treated individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD among other diagnoses. He has received training in Crisis Management, Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal and Motivational Therapy as well as Family and couples therapy. Alexander served 11 years as a Field Artillery Officer in the Army National and received an Honorable Discharge as a Captain. He is bilingual (English and Spanish).

Cinnamon Key, LCSW - Clinical Director
Cinnamon Key (also known as Naturally Cinnamon, the Resilience Cultivator) encourages and develops resilience in the Black community. Through her work with children, teens, young adults, adults, families, couples, churches, and beyond, Cinnamon counsels and educates on the importance of building our resilience! In 2008, after graduating with her Master of Social Work degree from Barry University, she began working with teenagers that were aging out of the foster care system and transitioning into the world. This work brought her into contact with children and families who were familiar with deep, unresolved pains in a world they were not yet equipped to maneuver. Cinnamon realized that there was work for her to do and all that she had experienced in her life was part of her preparation for it. She moved from foster care work to the Miami-Dade County Public School system where she became a School Social Worker working with children, families, administrators, and community leaders to help children succeed in making high-quality academic and life decisions.

Chardyne Thomany, MSW
She graduated from Barry University in December 2020, earning her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. Ms.Thomany is a jack of all trades she is currently and educator and was still able to pursure her Masters She has a lot of experience working with diverse population as a case manager with DCF, along with working as a mental health targeted case manager. Ms.Thomany also has experience in working with individuals, families and groups settings with substance abuse users. She is currently a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. One of the therapeutic techniques she enjoys using is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which she has a certification in. Ms.Thomany has a passion for helping others in her community she is bilingual in creole and English.

Nathalie Wroy- Master's Level Intern
Nathalie earned her Bachelors’s Degree in Social Work from Florida International University in 2019. She is currently working on obtaining a Masters’s Degree in Social Work. Nathalie is passionate about helping others and enjoys coming up with creative ideas and solutions to solve problems. She has several years of experience working with children and has previous experience working as a group facilitator for a children’s psychosocial rehabilitation group.

Laura Jeanis, MSW
Laura is a Miami native whose passion is to help all of those in need. Her undergraduate degrees consist of a Bachelor’s degree in clinical social work and a minor in sociology from Florida Memorial University. Laura earned her Master’s degree in clinical social work through the advanced-standing program at Barry University. She’s worked with a variety of clients; from children as young as two-years -old in foster care, to young and geriatric adults in need of trauma treatment. Although Laura works with a variety of clinical needs, she specializes in treating trauma. No two clients are the same, therefore Laura uses a combination of different clinical interventions to provide the most effective treatment for her clients’ needs. Laura has been trained in many different clinical interventions. Some of her favorites to use in treatment are Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Experiential Therapy. A quote Laura often uses with her clients goes “You are way stronger than you think you are. Let me be your guide to helping find and connect the pieces you need.” Laura is a humanitarian, an entrepreneur, and a believer in the strength of one’s goals and intentions.

Michelle graduated from Florida A & M University 2012 with Bachelor in Social Work and Florida International University in 2014 with Master’s in Social Work. She is a License Clinical Social Work Intern. She has worked in the Social Service Field for 9 years. She specializes in Substance Abuse (Children & Adult), Domestic Violence, Children & Families. She believes each person should be granted the opportunity to share their story in safe place with a trustworthy person. She is dedicated to ensure each session is meaningful, purposeful, and most importantly hopeful that change can occur.
